At the initiative of the Progress Center, a discussion was held between the youth representatives of political parties and civil movements on the problems of students on 2 main issues:
1) The problem of status-suspended students;
2) Absence of political structural units in universities;
During the meeting, a “Memorandum of Understanding for the Protection of Students ‘Rights” was signed, which aims at youth discourse, exchange of views, and transparency in order to protect students’ rights. However, it will strengthen
Advocacy for the legislature or the executive.
The memorandum was signed by the representatives of “The Center for Progress”, “The Movement – for the People”, “The United National Movement”, “The Georgian Labor Party”, “Girchi – More Freedom”, “United Youth for Georgia”, and “The Greens”.
