The Center for Progress supports the striking employees of the Social Service Agency!

 

On January 17, about 400 employees of the Social Service Agency of the Ministry of Health went on strike. Social service agents say they have to work full time at the cost of unworthy pay. Their monthly salary ranges from 200-500 GEL.

The director of the Progress Center, Elene Elbakidze, and the lawyer, Mariam Kusiani, met with the striking social service agents at the rally and expressed their full support, including, if necessary, legal support!
The Ministry of Health is obliged to meet their demands and complete the promotion of monetary compensation.
